The Origin of Belief - The Story - Fact or Fiction

Hello everyone,
The purpose of this forum community is intended to be a sounding board for topics and ideas to be included in a writing of fiction. My name is Arthur Allison and my passion is writing.
The book is obviously titled The Origin of Belief and is still in its outline stage. One of the reasons I am not actually in "full on" writing mode is I feel that any writing, be it fact or fiction needs to be believable. My opinion and the opinions of nearly every person I have imposed my personal philosophy upon has had their own, very unique philosophical view.
The most controversial portion of the very topic and basis of my book is that its belief, or the implication of any of its content being at all true, will be frowned upon by those who follow the philosophy of creationism. I currently live in the United States in a region known as the Bible Belt. Many of the people in this region are very closed minded about any topic of discussion that might imply that their "GOD" may not exist. With this disclosure you can imagine how difficult it is for me to have an open minded discussion on said topics.
Please use this forum and voice your thoughts and views on the topics that develop. I intend on continuously modifying this forum extensively throughout its development. Feel free to make suggestions and ask questions, I am usually available most anytime. I welcome any and all views on subject, including those who can intelligently and logically support creationism.
